Top 10 most affordable fully electric vehicles in Canada

With more and more choices to be made in the Canadian EV market, here’s a list of the Top 10 most affordable fully electric vehicles on sale right now.

The Government of Canada newly offers, since May 2019, an incentive on zero-emission vehicle purchases or leases. With a value of up to $ 5,000, the incentive for zero-emission vehicles (iZEV) program changes the game. Driving electric with the 10 cheapest 100% electric vehicles has never been so affordable.

This initiative is in addition to provincial and/or municipal incentives already in place in some regions. Indeed, some provinces offer additional financial assistance of up to $8,000 in Quebec and $5,000 in British Columbia to encourage the adoption of this clean technology.

However, in order to maximize the value of this federal program, several criterias must be met, including the vehicle type and the base model’s maximum manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP).

Here’s the full list of the most affordable fully electric vehicles in ascending order, and keep in mind that they are all iZEV eligible:
