Thanksgiving is a good time to buy a used car.
The best deals to be had are on small cars.
Black Friday isn’t exactly what it used to be. When I was a kid, it meant that for one day and one day only, the Optimus Prime toy I desperately wanted was 50% off. Now, Black Friday lasts for weeks but more often than not, actual deals are few and far between. In the car business, however, there are actually deals to be had.
If you’re shopping for a pre-owned vehicle, especially a compact car, Black Friday and Thanksgiving are historically among the best times to buy. This year, although the used car market has been turned on its ear, there are still deals to be made.
