Top 15 New Cars Priced Highest Above MSRP

If you want to buy a new Jeep, expect to pay a massive premium over MSRP

  • SUVs continue to be ultra-hot.

  • Of the 15, only three are cars.

News of part supply shortages and production slowdowns continue to make headlines in the auto industry. Although there have been some improvements where inventories are concerned, demand for new vehicles, some more than others, continues to outstrip availability. This situation has enabled dealerships to charge more than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price by an average of 10%.

If you’re in the market for a new SUV, odds are the premium over MSRP will be even greater. According to a recent analysis, some SUVs from brands such as Jeep, Genesis, Porsche, and others, are selling for nearly 25% over MSRP. Speaking of premium, luxury automakers are prominently featured on the list and they include Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, and Cadillac. The models from non-luxury makes are all hot-ticket items such as the Chevrolet Corvette and Ford’s brilliant Maverick and the Bronco.

iSeeCars analyzed more than 1.9 million new car listings and have come up with the following top 15 vehicles priced highest above MSRP.
