Our eyes are immediately drawn to the top of the list and it’s no surprise to find the mighty Ford F-150 crushing everyone else under its considerable girth. What always surprises however is the number of pickups sold and their importance overall. Remember, the Silverado and F-150 are only available in North America – together, they account for nearly 22% of the top-10 volume-wise!
This document also serves to demonstrate how big the crossover has become. If we exclude the pickups, CUVs and sedans each hold four spots in the top 10. If we combine the CUVs with the trucks, they represent 58% of sales in the top 10.
