2024 Toronto Auto Show: Here’s What You’ll See

The Toronto Auto Show runs from February 16 to 25 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.


  • The Ineos Grenadier 4×4 will be presented in Canada for the first time.

  • The Lotus electric SUV will be unveiled in Canada for the first time.

  • Infiniti’s styling future will be revealed with the unveiling of two concept vehicles.

 


Subaru: two Canadian premieres

 

While the Japanese brand Subaru was absent from the Montreal Auto Show last month, it will be present at the Toronto Auto Show. Canadian premieres include the Forester 2025 and WRX RS 2024. For 2025, Subaru is bringing out a sixth-generation Forester. The RS version of the sporty WRX stands out for its Brembo brakes and recalibrated suspension.

Lotus Eletre: for the first time in Canada

 

Visitors to the Toronto Auto Show will be able to see the new Lotus Eletre up close, for the first time in Canada. It is billed as a 100% electric SUV. It develops 905 hp and has a claimed range of 600 kilometres.

Ineos Grenadier: a big first

 

The Ineos brand will be exhibiting its rugged, traditional looking 4X4 at the Toronto Auto Show through one of its dealerships. The Ineos Grenadier is powered by a 3.0 L turbocharged in-line six-cylinder engine.

Toyota: Land Cruiser and Crown Signia unveiled

 

Unveiled worldwide last year, the Land Cruiser and Crown Signia will make their first official appearance on the Canadian market at the Toronto Auto Show. In the case of the former, it’s a rebirth of one of the brand’s flagship models. Designed to venture off the beaten track, the Toyota Land Cruiser is powered by a turbocharged 2.4 L i-Force Max four-cylinder engine. The Signia replaces the Venza. Available only with hybrid powertrains, this electrified SUV with luxurious pretensions is based on the Crown sedan.

Infiniti unveils two concept vehicles

 

Absent from the Toronto Auto Show since 2020, the Japanese luxury brand will be back this year to unveil two concept vehicles. These are the Infiniti Vision Qe and QX Monograph. These two models embody the brand’s stylistic future.

Tesla Cybertruck: yet another appearance

 

As at the Montreal Auto Show, the Tesla Cybertruck is sure to be one of the star attractions. This electric truck is both revolutionary and highly polarizing.

Rimac: presentation of the Croatian hypercar

 

For the first time in Canada, you’ll be able to see the Rimac Nevera up close. This Croatian hypercar develops no less than 1914 horsepower and needs just 1.81 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standstill.

Porsche: from video game to reality

 

Developed for the Gran Turismo 7 video game, the Porsche Vision GT will be shown in Canada for the first time. It is the fruit of a partnership between the German brand and the video game since 2017.

Other not-to-be-missed attractions at the Toronto Auto Show include the 1957 Chevrolet Corvette from the Barbie movie, the presence of Richard Hammond, an array of classic cars thanks to the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance, an electric vehicle test drive, and a Lego booth.
