All RAV4 hybrid models sold in Canada are assembled at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada in Ontario. The updated model gets Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid powertrain, built around a 2.5L four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor. This setup delivers a combined 236 horsepower, up from 219 hp in the previous generation. Fuel consumption ranges from 5.1 to 6.7 L/100 km, depending on the model. All-wheel drive is standard across the lineup.

The 2026 RAV4 is available in seven hybrid grades, grouped into three design categories: core (LE, XLE, XLE Premium, Limited), sport (XSE, XSE Technology Package), and adventure-ready (Woodland). The platform includes updates to the chassis for improved handling and ride comfort, with LED lighting and alloy wheels standard on all trims.

Interior updates include increased cargo capacity and a new tech-focused cabin layout. Standard features include heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and Toyota’s Smart Key system. Higher trims offer upgrades such as panoramic moonroofs, power-adjustable ventilated front seats, and memory driver settings.

All models come equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, which includes enhanced features such as Pre-Collision System with improved detection, Lane Tracing Assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The seven hybrid grades are as follows:
