Toyota’s new battery-electric SUV, the 2026 bZ Woodland, arrives in dealerships nationwide next month as the brand’s most off-road-oriented BEV offering to dat, priced from $63,300 with fees.
The Woodland joins the recently refreshed bZ SUV and the newly introduced C-HR battery-electric crossover, bringing Toyota’s total number of electrified models in Canada to 21 across hybrid, plug-in hybrid, battery-electric and fuel-cell powertrains.
The 2026 bZ Woodland features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive configuration producing a net combined 375 horsepower. Toyota estimates 0–100 km/h acceleration at 4.4 seconds.
The driving range is rated at up to 452 kilometres on a full charge. Models equipped with available all-terrain tires carry a reduced manufacturer-estimated range of 418 kilometres. Ground clearance measures 215 millimetres or 8.5 inches. Towing capacity is rated at 3,500 pounds (1,588 kilograms).
The SUV uses a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack mounted beneath the floor. The vehicle is equipped with a North American Charging System (NACS) port for access to compatible DC fast-charging stations.

Under ideal conditions, DC fast charging from 10 to 80% state of charge can be completed in approximately 30 minutes. An 11-kW onboard charger supports Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging, and a dual-voltage 120V/240V charging cable is included. Battery pre-conditioning can be activated manually or through navigation routing to a fast charger. Plug & Charge capability enables automatic authentication and payment at selected networks.
The Woodland’s exterior design elements include black overfenders and 18-inch aluminum wheels with removable aero covers. All-terrain tires are available on the Premium grade. The Woodland variant is 140 mm longer than the bZ SUV, and height rises by 20 millimetres. The extra length provides a cargo capacity that can grow to 2,120 litres with rear seats folded flat, compared to 1,900 litres in the standard model. Roof rails are standard equipment.

All models feature SofTex-trimmed seating and a 14-inch Toyota Multimedia touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Dual wireless Qi charging pads and four USB-C ports are standard. Heated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, and a heated steering wheel are standard as are dual-zone automatic climate control and ambient interior lighting.
The Premium grade adds ventilated front seats, front-seat radiant heating, a fixed panoramic glass roof with power sunshade, a digital rearview mirror, and a nine-speaker JBL audio system with amplifier and subwoofer.
The 2026 bZ Woodland comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. The suite includes Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and much more.
The 2026 Toyota bZ Woodland is offered in two trims:
