VinFast unveils an electric pickup truck for the first time in Canada: the VF Wild.
The manufacturer also presents a small SUV: the VF 3.
Two major electric innovations are on display at VinFast‘s very large booth. As part of the CES show held in Las Vegas just a few days ago, the automaker unveiled the world premiere of an adventurous pickup truck, the VF Wild, and a cute little SUV, the VF 3. Both vehicles are proudly on display in the VinFast booth at the Montreal International Auto Show.
Following in the footsteps of the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, Chevrolet Silverado EV and Ram Revolution, VinFast has now announced its foray into the world of electric pickups. Measuring 209 inches, the VF Wild features a fold-down wall between the cab and bed, increasing cargo space from five to eight feet. The model also boasts a panoramic roof and digital side mirrors. The VinFast VF Wild is equipped with suicide doors, as can be seen at a closer look. For the time being, the vehicle is still at the prototype stage.
Also in the VinFast booth iss the VF 3, a tiny SUV reminiscent of the Suzuki Jimny. This new model was also unveiled at the most recent CES show. It measures just 125.6 inches long and 66.1 inches wide. It features 16-inch wheels. The manufacturer estimates a range of around 201 kilometres, without specifying battery capacity. The VF 3 can accommodate up to four occupants. When the rear bench is folded down, the load volume rises to 550 L.
The Montreal International Auto Show 2024 runs from January 19 to 28 at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
