Volkswagen Golf 8 Interior Sketch Unveiled

New digital dashboard to be featured in new Volkswagen Golf MK8.

The 8th-generation Volkswagen Golf MK8 will feature a more modern, techno dashboard according to a recent sketch released by VW.

The next Volkswagen Golf has been delayed and we’re still unsure if models like the Sportwagen and Alltrack will make it over, but at least we’re getting some info about the next Golf MK8. This latest sketch, for example, shows a more modern interior complete with a digital instrument cluster and large center display. The dual-screen infotainment system reminds us of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class.

Volkswagen Golf Delays

The new-generation Volkswagen Golf as been the subject of countless rumors over the last few months about why it has been delayed. The car was originally supposed to be unveiled at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show but the VW ID will be the star there. The new VW Golf 8 will like likely go on sale in January 2020 with Volkswagen not wanting to launch the car in December.

How other models will fall into place with this new Golf remains to be seen. There will be an e-golf, a Sportwagen and an Alltrack next year, but after that who know’s how Volks will develop its new Golf lineup. Only time will tell.
