Volkswagen dealers should be able to deliver ID.4s from next January.
Deliveries of this electric crossover were halted due to a problem with the door handle mechanism.
The maximum range of the Volkswagen ID.4 2024 is 468 kilometres.
According to insider information we obtained from a local Volkswagen dealer, deliveries of the ID.4 are scheduled to resume in January 2025.

In September, the German manufacturer was forced to halt the Volkswagen ID.4 deliveries due to a problem with the door handle mechanism. A solution has since been found, and the manufacturer is expected to issue an official statement by the end of this week.
This interruption in the Volkswagen ID.4 deliveries is a major issue for the manufacturer. Last October, we reported that more than 2,100 examples of the ID.4 were in stock at Volkswagen dealerships in the province of Quebec alone, but none could be delivered to customers.
What’s more, manufacturers, dealers and consumers alike are taking advantage of the last few weeks of the $7,000 provincial subsidy to purchase a new electric vehicle. As of January 1, the maximum subsidy under the Go Green program for purchasing a new electric vehicle will drop to $4,000.
