Cadillac is gearing up to redefine the landscape of electric vehicles with the upcoming reveal of the ESCALADE IQ on August 9th. In a bid to whet the appetite of automobile enthusiasts, the American luxury automaker today released a tantalizing preview video of this all-new, all-electric, full-size SUV.

The ESCALADE IQ, the first all-electric offering of its kind from Cadillac, stands as a bold reimagination of the brand’s most iconic model. The preview video gave glimpses into the vehicle’s aesthetics, featuring elements like the wheels and front-end, promising an exciting update to this much-celebrated nameplate.

Further signaling the brand’s commitment to electrification, the ESCALADE IQ’s debut marks a major milestone in Cadillac’s strategy to offer a fully electric portfolio by decade’s end. Production of the ESCALADE IQ is slated for the renovated and retooled Factory ZERO Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center. With a robust $2.2 billion investment, this facility has been refashioned into a launchpad for GM’s comprehensive EV strategy.
