Wild FV Frangivento Sorpasso GT3 Production Car Revealed

The first production FV Frangivento Sorpasso GT3 was introduced in the French Riviera

  • Power comes from a twin-supercharged 5.2-litre V10 that delivers 880 horsepower.

  • Owners alongside company stylists together design the car.

The FV Frangivento Sorpasso GT3 seen in these pictures is the result of the collaborative efforts between the Italian car company’s stylists and the owner. As we reported back in April, the very rich crave unique pieces and the fact that the Sorpasso GT3 can be fully customized at the factory means that no two cars will be alike.

Buyers, once committed to the purchase, enter a pair of programs called Programma Sviluppo and Programma Ego for 30 days. It is through these arrangements that they not only design their car but also chose its name, according to Motor1. More precisely, they get to select a number after the GT. The first owner wisely went with 3 for GT3.

The twin-supercharged 5.2-litre V10 that powers the car produces 880 horsepower, enough to send it to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 345 km/h.

The FV Frangivento Sorpasso Supercar’s V10 Will Deliver Up To 850hp

Pricing for the FV Frangivento Sorpasso GT3 was not revealed however based on the car’s specifications, it must be in the millions. As one might expect, the Sorpasso GT3 is a combination of carbon fibre, leather, Alcantara, and other exotic materials. This specific example is draped in red both on the outside and the inside.

Production numbers are also unclear however, the initial “name” for the car was Sorpasso GTXX which, to us, means either 20 or 100 will be built.
