Xpeng G7 EREV offers 1,704 km combined and 430 km electric range under CLTC cycle.
Powered by 1.5T engine, 292 hp motor, and 55.8 kWh LFP battery with 800V charging.
Launching alongside two other EREV models in early 2026 as part of Xpeng’s expansion.
Xpeng will introduce an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) version of its G7 SUV in the first quarter of 2026, with a combined driving range of 1,704 kilometres under China’s CLTC cycle. The company states this would make the G7 EREV the longest-range SUV in the global market.

The G7 EREV will feature a pure-electric range of 430 kilometres and a powertrain combining a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with a 292 hp (218 kW) electric motor. The internal combustion engine delivers 148 hp (110 kW) of output, and the system includes a 55.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery and a 60-litre fuel tank.
Built on an 800V platform, the vehicle supports 5C fast charging, allowing it to regain 314 kilometres of range in just 12 minutes, according to the company’s specifications.
Dimensionally, the EREV version is 26 mm longer than the battery-electric G7, measuring 4918 mm in length, with a width of 1925 mm, height of 1655 mm, and a wheelbase of 2890 mm. Despite the size difference, the design remains mostly unchanged from the current BEV variant, retaining the brand’s second-generation “X Face” styling, hidden door handles, and through-type rear lighting. A “POWER X” badge at the rear distinguishes the EREV from its electric-only counterpart.

The current G7 BEV is sold in three trims with CLTC ranges of 602 km and 702 km, priced between ¥195,800 and ¥225,800 (approximately CAD $38,200 to CAD $44,100).
The G7 EREV will become Xpeng’s third extended-range model, following the X9 MPV and the P7+ sedan. Xpeng has confirmed it will launch three EREV models in the first quarter of 2026, followed by four additional EREV and EV models later in the year.
