The upcoming Tesla Cybertruck will only be offered in stainless steel.
This means all Cybertrucks will look identical, or nearly.
Stainless-steel is dent, scratch, damage and rust-resistant.
These are Elon Musk’s exact words when he was asked about colours for the upcoming Tesla Cybertruck: “You will be able to wrap it in any color or pattern.” This essentially confirms that the Cybertruck will only be delivered in one colour, that of its stainless steel exoskeleton.

Most of recall Henry Ford’s famous line that goes: “You can have [a Model T] any color as long as it’s black.” This is what Musk more or less said in a recent tweet about a potential colour palette for the Cybertruck. The stainless steel body presents many advantages, other than looking exceptionally cool. However, as an owner, you will have the opportunity to wrap it and truly customize it visually.
Musk did, at one point, mention that matte black would be offered from the factory, along with other hues however it would seem that there’s been a change internally. We think that the initial run of Cybertrucks will all be stainless steel for ease of production and eventually, actual shades will be offered.
