Volkswagen’s flagship sedan, the Arteon, made its Canadian debut at the 2018 edition of the Canadian International Auto Show. While it sat beautifully at the VW stand for over a week, it all but disappeared until recently.
As Volkswagen Canada ramps up the car’s official arrival before year’s end, they’ve arranged to display it as part of Toronto’s newest art space, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).
One of North America’s leading artists, Los Angeles resident Scott Froschauer, was invited to participate in a project involving the 2019 Volkswagen Arteon. He surrounded the car with mirrors, lights and imagery, with the intent of showing that luxury is more than an image or a name, that it’s an experience inspired by the finer things in life.
If you’re captivated by the luxury sedan, this would be an interesting way to become reacquainted with the car’s stunning design. As a reminder, the 2019 Arteon is powered by a 268-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, features 4MOTION AWD, front and rear heated seats, LED lights, and can be spec’d out with numerous luxury features.
Pricing for the 2019 Arteon starts at $47,995 while the installation including the car will be on display from September 22nd to October 21st.
Enough with the mustard color already.
