2020 Toyota Supra Will Debut In Canada On January 17th

After it’s international unveiling in Detroit on January 14th, the 2020 Toyota Supra will head north to Canada for its Canadian Premier at the Montreal Auto Show.

It’s quite surprising, in fact, that Toyota will showcase the car in Canada so quickly. The Montreal Auto Show has historically followed the NAIAS, but very rarely do cars from Detroit manage to make their way up to Montreal.

The new Toyota Supra will return after a 16-year absence from the market and is one of the most anticipated cars of the year. Sharing a host of components with the new BMW Z4, the 2020 Toyota Supra will be powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine that will develop over 300 horsepower.

A four-cylinder option may be available although we don’t have any official specs yet. We do know that it will look a lot like the Toyota FT-1 Concept unveiled in Detroit back in 2014 however as numerous images of the new Supra have leaked all over the web over the last 3 months.
