The 2025 GMC Sierra EV Denali: A High-Performance Electric Pickup with Long Range and Advanced Features

– The 2025 GMC Sierra EV Denali offers up to 740 km of range and 760 horsepower.

– It features fast charging, adding 160 km of range in just 10 minutes at 350 kW.

– Innovative design includes a MultiPro MidGate for larger cargo and an Air Ride suspension.

GMC has now introduced the 2025 Sierra EV Denali to the Canadian market, expanding its lineup of all-electric vehicles and joining the already available Chevrolet Silverado EV. This electric pickup truck combines impressive range, power, and innovative features aimed at meeting the needs of both work and leisure drivers. The Sierra EV Denali is positioned as a high-performance, luxury-oriented electric.

The 2025 Sierra EV Denali offers two range options to suit different driving needs. The Extended Range version delivers up to 628 km on a full charge. In comparison, the Max Range variant extends that distance to 740 km, making it one of the longest-range electric pickups available in Canada, alongside the Silverado EV. Both versions feature a dual-motor setup, producing 760 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. This powerful performance supports a maximum towing capacity of 4,500 kg (10,500 lbs).

GMC’s Sierra EV Denali is equipped with advanced charging technology capable of 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kW. This allows drivers to gain 160 km of range in as little as 10 minutes.

The Sierra EV Denali continues GMC’s tradition of combining utility with innovative design. The truck is available in six colours: Summit White, Thunderstorm Gray, and Deep Ocean Metallic. One of its standout features is the MultiPro MidGate, which expands the bed to accommodate items up to 11 feet long while leaving room for a rear-seat passenger. This adds a high level of practicality for users who need a truck capable of carrying large loads.

Additionally, the Air Ride Adaptive Suspension provides a more comfortable ride by allowing drivers to raise or lower the truck by about two inches, adapting to various driving conditions and terrains.

GMC plans to expand the Sierra EV lineup in early 2025, introducing the Elevation and AT4 models. These new versions will add to the truck’s versatility, catering to customers seeking more rugged, off-road capabilities.

The 2025 GMC Sierra EV Denali is priced from $118,599 for the Extended Range model and $122,599 for the Max Range version. It is expected to hit Canadian dealerships in the Fall of 2024.
