For 2025, the GMC Terrain inherits a more modern silhouette.
The 2025 Terrain continues to be powered by a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine.
The range now comprises three versions: Elevation, AT4 and Denali.
In a virtual presentation, GMC officially presented the Terrain 2025. It’s a new generation for this American compact SUV.
A revamped range
As you can see from the manufacturer’s photos, the GMC Terrain has been redesigned for 2025. The front section, grille and bumpers have been restyled.

For the first time, the GMC Terrain can be fitted with a roof painted in a different color from the rest of the body (black or gray). Inside, there are many new features. There’s a 15-inch screen for the infotainment system, plus 11-inch digital instrumentation. Integrated Google technology has also been included, as in other latest-generation General Motors products.
With the third-generation model, GMC has revised its marketing strategy somewhat. The SLE and SLT versions have been eliminated. The AT4 and Denali versions remain. GMC has added the Elevation version, positioned at the entry-level.
The GMC Terrain Elevation comes with 17-inch wheels and an LED lighting system. A Black Edition version is also available.

The 2025 GMC Terrain AT4 is distinguished by its all-terrain tires, slightly raised suspension, Crawl and Terrain driving modes, and a front underbody skid plate.
The 2025 GMC Terrain Denali is positioned at the top of the range. Its equipment includes standard 19-inch wheels, chrome accents and a reworked suspension to enhance on-board comfort.
The same 1.5 L engine
Mechanically, the same recipe is applied. Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine. It generates 175 hp and 203 lb-ft of torque. Maximum towing capacity remains at 1,500 lbs.
Pricing and official fuel consumption figures will be announced at a later date.
