The Infiniti QX60’s 3.5 L V6 engine is eliminated in favor of the VC-Turbo engine.
Power loss is 27 hp.
For 2025, Infiniti adds a Black Edition version of the QX60.
Introduced in 2022, the second-generation Infiniti QX60 benefits from some mechanical and aesthetic changes for the 2025 model year.
The 3.5-litre V6 engine disappears
Mechanically, the 3.5-litre V6 engine that powered this three-row midsize SUV is saying goodbye. It has been replaced by the VC-Turbo engine, a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit. This engine is currently used under the hood of the QX50 and QX55.

The V6 engine developed 295 hp. Power drops to 268 hp with the new VC-Turbo powertrain. Torque, on the other hand, rises from 270 to 286 lb-ft. The block is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Although official fuel consumption ratings from Natural Resources Canada have not been released, the manufacturer promises a balance between performance and fuel economy.
Until 2024, the Infiniti QX60 can tow a load of up to 6,000 lbs. It is not yet known what the towing capacity of the 2025 Infiniti QX60 will be with the mechanical changes that have been made.
Infiniti adds a Black Edition version
To enhance its offering, Infiniti is adding a Black Edition version to the QX60 catalog for 2025. This is based on the Luxe version. Its distinctive features include 20-inch wheels, roof rails, a radiator grille surround and gloss black exterior emblems. The black headlining is also noteworthy.
For 2025, the Infiniti QX60 range includes five versions: Pure, Luxe, Black Edition, Sensory and Autograph.
The Infiniti QX60 2025 is scheduled to go on sale this summer. For the time being, the price range has not yet been released.
