  • Higher trims introduce faster charging, upgraded sound systems, and advanced driver assistance features.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is GM’s pinnacle luxury EV, offering exceptional power, performance, cutting-edge technology, and premium comfort. Cadillac offers four trims of its iQ, and below is a breakdown of each trim and its key differences.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ starts out in Luxury 1 AWD and Sport 1 AWD versions, both starting at $157,399, while the Luxury 2 AWD and Sport 2 AWD are priced at $177,499. Loaded with most options including the Executive Second Row Seating Package and colour, pricing flirts with the $200,000 mark.

All come equipped with a dual-motor AWD system that produces 615 hp and 680 lb-ft of torque. The Velocity Max feature can boost this to 750 hp and 785 lb-ft of torque. Regenerative braking and a 24-module battery pack ensure smooth performance and range efficiency.

Luxury vs. Sport Trims

The 2025 Escalade IQ Luxury trims focus on elegance and premium comfort, while the Sport trims offer a bolder, more performance-oriented design.

Luxury models feature Galvano door handles and a refined aesthetic, whereas Sports models have body-coloured door handles and darker trim elements. The wheel designs also vary. The luxury trims are equipped with 24″ 7-spoke alloy wheels with mask and polish, while the Sport trims feature 24″ diamond-cut alloy wheels with high-gloss black inserts. Additionally, both trims include Air Ride Adaptive Suspension and Magnetic Ride Control, but the Sport trims have firmer tuning.

Luxury 1 vs. Luxury 2

The Luxury 2 trim builds on the Luxury 1’s foundation with several premium enhancements. For interior comfort, the Luxury 1 comes with Inteluxe seat trim, while the Luxury 2 upgrades to Nouveauluxe seat trim and adds a massage function for the front seats.

Charging capabilities are also improved in the 2025 Escalade IQ Luxury 2, which features a 19.2 kW onboard charger, compared to the 11.5 kW onboard charger in the Luxury 1. This upgrade requires a 100A dedicated charge station for optimal performance. The Luxury 2 also has an AKG Studio Reference 36-speaker sound system, while the Luxury 1 includes a 19-speaker one.

Additionally, the Luxury 2 trim incorporates advanced technology features such as Smart Trailer Integration, an In-Vehicle Trailering App, and connected cameras.

Sport 1 vs. Sport 2

The Sport 2 trim is an upgrade from the Sport 1 model, which features Nouveauluxe seating with power-adjustable bolsters and massage functions, as opposed to the Inteluxe seating found in the Sport 1.

Charging capabilities differ significantly between the two trims, as they do for the Luxury trims. The Sport 1 has an 11.5 kW onboard charger, whereas the Sport 2 is equipped with a 19.2 kW onboard charger, enabling faster charging when paired with a 100A dedicated charge station.

Audio upgrades are another key differentiator. The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ Sport 1 features an AKG Studio 19-speaker system, while the Sport 2 includes an AKG Studio Reference 36-speaker system. With the Executive Package, you can upgrade to 40 speakers.

The 2025 Cadillac IQ lineup offers a variety of configurations to suit luxury and performance-minded buyers alike. The Luxury trims prioritize premium comfort and elegance, while the Sport trims cater to those seeking a more aggressive design and enhanced driving experience.
