Bentley Flying Spur Gets New Sporty Styling Specification

The Bentley Flying Spur will be available with an optional Styling Specification which will deliver functional aerodynamics

  • Body kit is made from high-gloss twill pattern carbon fibre.

  • The Flying Spur is one of the fastest and sportiest large luxury sedans in the world.

  • Aerodynamic add-ons are tested for NVH, durability, and more.

Introduced for the 2019 model year, the new Bentley Flying Spur was redesigned with performance and speed in mind. While this was achieved, Bentley will now offer a Styling Specification which will further emphasize the large luxury sedan’s extremely sporting credentials.

This aerodynamic package is clearly not that you can order for $500 and install in a day on your 10-year-old Honda Civic or Chevy Cruze. What makes the Styling Specification unique is that Bentley went through a number of phases, from design concept, virtual drag and noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) tests. Prototypes of the components were then created and further enhanced in the wind tunnel and on the track. And then, they underwent grueling durability tests including curb tests and wading through water to ensure they lived up to expectations.

The Styling Specification includes a front bumper splitter, side skirts with metallic Bentley badges, rear diffuser, and boot lid spoiler. All components, crafted in high-gloss 2×2 twill carbon fibre, are manufactured by hand and mirror-matched.

If you plan to purchase a new Bentley Flying Spur, you can order the Styling Specification now or have it retrofitted at a later date.
