The pricing for both the Bollinger B1 Electric Sport Utility Truck and B2 Electric Pickup Truck is set to $125,000 USD.
Recently unveiled as “beta prototypes”, the B1 and B2 twins are now set to enter production the manufacturer says. Indeed, Bollinger Motors announced that the Electric Sport Utility Truck and Electric Pickup Truck are set to enter production in 2020.
With the pricing set to start at $125,000 USD, the Bollinger B1 and B2 will be hand-assembled, just north of Detroit, at their Ferndale, Michigan factory.
Both the Bollinger B1 Electric Sport Utility Truck and B2 Electric Pickup Truck will feature a 120 kWh battery pack, patent-pending storage options, dual motors, in-wheel portal gear hubs, 5,000-lb. payload capacity and 15-inch ground clearance say the carmaker.
This will give the B1 and B2 a range of approximately 200 miles (EPA) according to the company. With the battery pack producing 614 horsepower and 668 ft-lb of torque, the trucks will reach 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
Bollinger Motors is currently accepting $1,000 refundable deposits on its website. The B1’s and B2’s first deliveries will start in 2021 and will be sold through independent dealers, both in the United States and globally.
