Mercedes-Benz’s EQB, an electric SUV recognized for its distinct design and electric power, has undergone notable enhancements to further its appeal to electric vehicle enthusiasts and newcomers. Set for release in Canada’s market in early 2024, the 2024 EQB introduces two versions: the front-wheel-drive EQB 250 SUV and an all-wheel-drive variant yet to be disclosed.
Firstly, the vehicle’s exterior and interior have been updated. The front showcases a fresh black panel surface with a star pattern, echoing the aesthetic of its larger Mercedes-Benz electric counterparts. A light strip connects the headlights’ daytime running lights, contributing to its unique front-end appearance. Inside, enhancements include a current-generation steering wheel with touch controls and a range of trim choices, such as brown lime open-pore wood and illuminated Mercedes-Benz patterns.
As a compact SUV, the EQB accommodates up to seven passengers, catering to various family sizes and transportation needs. The optional Sound Experiences, in conjunction with the Burmester surround sound system, add customizable auditory elements to the driving experience.
The updated MBUX generation offers improved voice control and customizable display styles. Additionally, the integration of Dolby Atmos with the Burmester sound system enhances audio quality, adapting to the listening environment for a more immersive experience.
