Ferrari has unveiled the HC25, a new one-off and entirely unique roadster from its Special Projects program, during Ferrari Racing Days at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The event runs this weekend.

The HC25 is based on the F8 Spider and keeps that model’s mid-rear-engine layout, chassis foundation and internal-combustion V8 powertrain. The HC25 is one Ferrari you’re highly unlikely to ever see in real life, as it’s part of its most exclusive customer-commissioned series, with each One-Off developed for a single client.

Power comes from a 3.9L twin-turbocharged 90-degree V8 with dry-sump lubrication. Output is listed at 720 hp with 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque at 3,250 rpm. The top speed is set at a week-long jail time of 340 km/h, with a 0–100 km/h time of only 2.9 seconds. If you keep your foot down, you’ll hit 200 km/h in 8.2 seconds.

The seven-speed dual-clutch F1 gearbox carries over with Ferrari control systems, including eDiff3, F1-Trac, high-performance ABS/EBD with Pre-fill, FDE+ and Side Slip Control 6.1.

Ferrari Design Studio, under Flavio Manzoni, developed an entirely reworked exterior with an emphasis on sculpted surfaces and simplified volumes. The body combines sharply defined lines with rounded wheel arches intended to preserve the muscular proportions associated with Ferrari mid-engine cars.

A central gloss-black, partially vertical band visually divides the HC25 into two body sections and integrates thermal management functions. The structure houses radiator air intakes and heat extraction elements. The contrasting black section runs along the flanks and over the doors before flowing into the rear screen, creating a forward-moving profile that visually pushes the cabin forward. The door handles, integrated into long aluminum blades, bisect the black central section.

Lighting elements were designed specifically for the HC25. The front headlamps use slim custom modules with a central indentation echoing the split layout of the rear lighting units. The daytime running lights are vertically boomerang-shaped and positioned along the leading edge of the front wings.

The exterior is mostly covered in a matte Moonlight Grey finish contrasted with gloss-black surfaces. Yellow brake callipers and Ferrari badging continue the colour theme inside the cabin through yellow graphics and grey technical fabric trim.

Ferrari says Special Projects vehicles typically take about two years to complete, with the client involved through design and verification stages.
