Ford has introduced the new Bronco RTR, a factory-built high-speed off-road variant developed in collaboration with famed RTR Vehicles. Designed and tested in Johnson Valley, California, the Bronco RTR delivers upgraded suspension, off-road hardware, and performance-focused styling without the cost of custom modifications. However, the RTR isn’t free either…

The new variant introduces two levels of off-road capability. The standard version includes 33-inch rugged-terrain tires and a high-clearance suspension setup, denoting the first time this configuration has been offered on a Bronco from the factory. Customers can further upgrade with the Sasquatch package, which adds 35-inch Goodyear tires and the HOSS 3.0 suspension system with Fox internal bypass shocks. This advanced suspension was previously exclusive to the Bronco Badlands series.

Developed with input from RTR founder Vaughn Gittin Jr. and tested in Baja Mexico, the Bronco RTR incorporates off-road features designed for high-speed trail driving. The model includes software-operated anti-lag turbo technology that maintains turbo boost even when off throttle, improving throttle response on loose or shifting terrain. The cooling system is also upgraded with the 1,000-watt fan from the Bronco Raptor, helping the engine maintain performance during extended use.

The RTR also receives reinforced steering components to manage rough conditions and maintain durability during off-road use. Styling elements include an RTR-specific grille, new signature lighting, and Hyper Lime accents throughout the exterior design. The RTR Evo 6 17-inch wheels are beadlock-capable, with Hyper Lime rock rings as standard. Avalanche Gray is a new paint colour offered on the Bronco RTR and available on the Mustang RTR.

The Bronco RTR will debut publicly at the 2026 Detroit Auto Show before appearing at the King of the Hammers off-road event in February. It will be available for order in Canada and the U.S. beginning in October 2026, with sales scheduled to start in January 2027.

Ford states the new RTR model delivers Raptor-style performance at a lower price point than the Badlands Sasquatch configuration. The Braptor is priced from just shy of $120,000, while the Badlands Sasquatch starts around $77,500 in Canada.
