Just like the Mustang a few years ago, it’s now Bronco’s turns to turn 60 next year. Ford is celebrating the milestone with a new heritage-inspired 60th Anniversary Package.
The package will be available with the 2,3L four-cylinders or the 2.7L V6
The classic White Wimbledon is available
Pricing will be announced closer to launch this fall
Almost exactly 60 years ago, on August 11, 1965, Ford introduced the original Bronco, coining the term “sport-utility” and laying the groundwork for one of the most enduring names in off-road capability. Sixty years later, the Ford is commemorating the milestone with the launch of the 2026 Bronco 60th Anniversary Package, just like they did a few years ago with the Mustang, another automotive icon.

Same “Heritage” recipe, just a bit further
The 60th Anniversary Package builds off the Bronco Outer Banks trim, offering a choice between a standard 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine or an optional 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6. In the US, it’s exclusively paired with the Sasquatch Package, which includes a high-clearance suspension, an advanced 4×4 system, electronic-locking front and rear differentials, and a shorter final drive ratio for better off-road performance. We are awaiting confirmation on which model it will be available with in Canada.
Rolling on 35-inch Goodyear rugged terrain tyres, the anniversary edition gets exclusive 17-inch Gravity Grey alloy wheels. At the centre, Vermilion Red caps feature the iconic Bucking Bronco logo and the year “1966”—a nod to the original production model. These design elements harken back to the wheel covers found on the very first Broncos.

Up front, a reinterpreted grille borrows from the original Bronco’s styling, now finished in Warm Alloy with Vermilion Red “BRONCO” lettering. The anniversary package is also available in Wimbledon White, an historic Ford colour, also use on the original Mustang, it’s complete with a matching white roof. For added contrast, customers can opt for a Ruby Red body paired with the Wimbledon White top.
Body-side graphics in Vermilion Red start at the front with the Bronco 60th Anniversary logo, while special badging on the fenders, again, it’s modelled after the cloisonné-style emblem used on the Mustang 60th Anniversary. And, just for fun, true to Bronco tradition, Ford designers have hidden a few Easter eggs for keen-eyed owners to discover.
Elevated Interior
Inside, the 60th Anniversary Bronco brings a more refined feel. The seats combine Ebony leather on the bolsters with Alpine leather inserts, and all four seatbacks are embossed with 60th Anniversary logos. Alpine marine-grade vinyl armrests add durability, while Alpine stitching on the leather-topped dash matches nicely with contrasting Bronco Red accents on the grab handles and instrument panel.

New standard-length running boards make getting in and out easier, and a first for 2026 Broncos, A-pillar mounted grab handles are also included. At the rear, a hard-shell spare tyre cover in Wimbledon White with a Vermilion Red “BRONCO” wordmark adds an upscale touch, joined by a matte black Ford badge on the tailgate.
The 2026 Ford Bronco with the 60th Anniversary Package will be available to order starting in October. Pricing in Canada and US will be announced closer to launch.
