If there was ever a destination or an activity to do on your own, with your bestie or with the family, exploring The Henry Ford is an absolute must. As a car buff, visiting this most incredible place has long since been on my bucket list. Now that I’ve been, I need to return with my wife and son.
The Henry Ford is better than the sum of its 26 million artifacts, 250 acres of property and 300 years of history in one single location.
My tour was all too brief; if anything, it was a terrible tease. The kicker is that whether or not cars are of interest to you, there are so many sections to discover that it is impossible to not be astounded, learn something and enjoy yourself.
While I did scour a good portion of the museum’s floor, the car collection is where I spent most of my time. The other exhibits (Aviation, Trains, Innovations, Farming, Industry, Housing, etc.) turned out to be so interesting that they’re the main reason why I need to return with my small brood.
Here, in this gallery, is but a sample of all the astonishing artifacts you will encounter on your visit to the Henry Ford Museum.
