Here are AJAC’s Top Finalists for 2024

Announcement of the Top Three Finalists Across Four Categories for the 2024 AJAC Canadian Car of the Year Awards


The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) has unveiled the finalists for the prestigious 2024 Canadian Car of the Year Awards. The announcement, setting the stage for the grand reveal at the Canadian International AutoShow on February 15, 2024, names twelve exceptional vehicles vying for honors across four distinguished categories.

Adapting to the evolving landscape of the automotive industry, the 2024 awards see a streamlined approach highlighting the growing significance and diversity within the automotive sector, especially with the increasing prominence of electric vehicles. Here are the four major categories:

After more than 600 comprehensive ballots were cast by AJAC’s skilled journalists from all over Canada, the top three contenders in each category have been determined through vote tallying.
