LA Auto Show 2018: The Prototype 10 Electrified Speedster

This is not the Infiniti Prototype 10’s first foray into the spotlight. You might remember it from this past summer’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance where it was showcased among many other unique pieces of automotive significance.

The Prototype 10 is Infiniti’s way to have fun with a cool, clean and forward-looking design. According to Nissan’s luxury brand, the Prototype 10 has found a “spiritual home” in California where the weather is always clement. There are few other places in the World where the daring open-top single-seat electrified speedster would feel in its place.

The Prototype 10 electrified speedster concept is all about self-expression, another well-known and established character of the Golden State. Obviously, there are no plans to build such a car any time soon but we can easily see how a number of its California-inspired design cues might find their way into future production vehicles.
