Porsche and Smeg Launch Limited-Edition Mouth-Watering Kitchen Appliance Collection

• Porsche x Smeg launches fridge and coffee machine inspired by 1970 Le Mans victory.

• Limited to 1,970 units, both feature Salzburg red livery and custom Porsche design accents.

• Full collection includes appliances in Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic finishes.

Porsche and Smeg have unveiled an incredibly desirable limited-edition kitchen appliance collection, drawing design inspiration from the 1970 Porsche 917 KH Salzburg. The collaboration, which launches today, features customized versions of Smeg’s FAB28 fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and blender.

At the centre of the collection are two limited-edition appliances: the Fridge 917 Salzburg and the Bean-to-Cup Coffee Machine 917 Salzburg. Each product is restricted to 1,970 numbered units and includes Porsche’s 917 Salzburg red livery, the number 23, and matte black design accents. The fridge includes a metal identification plate and redesigned handle proportions (looks like a door handle!), while the coffee machine offers a built-in grinder and compact form factor with professional coffee-making capabilities.

The wider collection introduces appliances finished in Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic, two colours drawn from Porsche’s signature palette. These items include the FAB28 refrigerator ($3,999), kettle, toaster, and blender, all modified with matte black details, numbered elements, and clean silhouettes. Design features such as custom handles, subtle striping, and Porsche-style detailing are present throughout and are achingly cool.

The Porsche x Smeg collection will be sold through Smeg flagship stores and authorized retailers, selected Porsche Design Stores and Centres, as well as online at smeg.com and porsche.com. Selected concept and design stores will also stock the collection.

The wonderous design of the $4,499 Fridge 917 Salzburg incorporates the classic Porsche stripe, race number, and darker internal finishes mirroring the black exterior details. The $1,599 coffee machine follows the same styling language and includes Porsche lettering on its casing. Additional appliances incorporate subtle references to Porsche’s design language, including numbered control knobs and matte black detailing.
