2027 Subaru Solterra Starts at $51,152 – a $4,500 Drop

  • Starting MSRP drops to $47,995 for 2027. Prices were cut by $4,000 for 2026.

  • All trims produce 338 horsepower and offer an estimated range of 446 km EPA.

  • Touring and Limited qualify for the EV Affordability Program.

Subaru Canada has shared pricing for the 2027 Solterra, reducing the electric SUV’s starting MSRP to $47,995 or $51,152 with fees. The new entry price is $4,500 lower than the comparable 2026 model and comes with a simplified trim structure organized around three traditional model grades.

The 2027 Solterra will be offered in Touring, Limited and Premier trims. Every version is equipped with Subaru’s Symmetrical Full-Time All-Wheel Drive system and produces a combined 338 hp from a 167-kW (224 hp) front electric motor and an 88-kW (118 hp) rear motor. Ground clearance remains at 210 mm (8.3 inches) across the lineup.

All trims use a 77-kWh lithium-ion battery with an estimated driving range of up to 446 km under ideal conditions. Subaru also estimates Level 3 DC fast charging from 10 to 80% in approximately 30 minutes under ideal conditions.

The entry-level Touring model includes LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, automatic high beams and 18-inch alloy wheels. Standard Subaru EyeSight driver-assistance technologies include Pre-Collision System, Blind Spot Monitor, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Change Assist, Reverse Automatic Braking, Emergency Driving Stop Assist and Emergency Steering Assist.

Inside, the Touring gets heated front seats finished in StarTex upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual wireless smartphone chargers and USB-C ports for both front and rear occupants.

Priced from $49,995 or $53,152 with fees, the Limited trim adds exterior upgrades including 20-inch wheels, a roof spoiler and heated power-folding mirrors with LED puddle lights. Interior enhancements include heated rear outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, silver accent stitching, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and an 11-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. Additional convenience features include a panoramic view monitor, hands-free power liftgate with kick sensor and Advanced Park.

It adds a gloss-black hood accent, a panoramic fixed glass roof with a retractable sunshade, cooled front seats, a smart rearview mirror, a rear camera washer, a tonneau cargo cover, and other premium convenience features.

The Touring and Limited trims qualify for up to $5,000 in incentives from the Electric Vehicle Affordability Program. The 2027 Solterra will arrive at dealerships across Canada later this year.
