After the Huracán Sterrato, Lamborghini promises even more outrageous models

In the world of Lamborghini, nothing is ordinary. For a long time, the Italian manufacturer enjoyed a certain exclusivity (along with Ferrari, Aston Martin, and others) in terms of high performance, but this is less the case today.

There was a time when nothing could hold its own against a Miura, a Countach, or a Diablo.

  • Lamborghini wants to offer more outrageous models

  • Customers can expect more customization options in the future

  • All models are likely to be considered for special treatment

Today, the reality is that several models across the industry also offer impressive performance levels when it comes to 0-60 times.

What’s left for Lamborghini? Offer the ultimate in quality, design, and performance, as the manufacturer continues to push its own limits.

In fact, the idea is to push the boundaries at every level to find new ways to stand out.

And that’s precisely what the company has just promised.

Following the success of its Hurácan Sterrato and Hurácan STO models, Lamborghini promises to offer even more outrageous variants.

In an interview with Autocar, Federico Foschini, the Italian brand’s sales and marketing director, said this: “From a brand perspective, [these models are] giving you opportunities that are immense, I think that we even didn’t leverage enough on the opportunity, because you can do a lot of stuff with the Sterrato; and I think that in the future, for sure we can introduce at a certain moment in time this opportunity.’

Alluding to the return of the Sterrato, Federico Foschini added: “We know that this is ready; the market is there.” All the company has to do, he said, is take action and produce a model that goes further.

“We don’t only want to upgrade, we want to surprise. ”

The executive also hinted that the company could launch limited editions of the Urus SUV and the new Revuelto, rather than simply replacing the Hurácan and Temerario.

He then added something interesting that shows how much the company is looking for solutions that break the mold: “We are always looking for crazy things in all dimensions. For example, with the Urus, we went to Pikes Peak. We also presented an Urus just for racing [the ST-X].”

Another thing the company wants to do is offer more customization options for its models. Customers generally love this. As a bonus, it’s also a way to increase profits. A concrete example is the new paint shop that has taken shape at the Sant’Agata factory. There, 400 colors are available for the Revuelto and Temerario.

As mentioned in the introduction, this is another world.

One thing is sure: it will be interesting to see what kind of beast the company will unleash to dazzle us.
