Another McLaren 720S destroyed…

Now obviously, we would not report on accidents involving Toyota Corollas. Wait, this just in! A Corolla has reversed into Niagara Falls! In other news, a Toyota Corolla is travelling westbound on the 401, IN THE EASTBOUND LANES! Late breaking news: A Toyota Corolla has just crashed through doors of the downtown Eaton Center and has finally come to a full stop in the third-floor shoe store!

In other words, we could populate a website with only news stories about people and their Corollas doing what they do best.

When someone crashes a rare, expensive and desirable McLaren 720S, it tends to make the cut. This past weekend, a driver who allegedly was speeding near Washington D.C., lost control of his car and parked it neatly into a tree, effectively ending the 720S’ life. The driver’s fine physically but mentally, not so much; he’d picked up his brand new McLaren the day before…

This past May, another 720S was found not far from Lake Mead in Nevada, essentially destroyed after having rolled at least once.

Mistakes happen obviously but it also seems that money doesn’t necessarily get you driving talent however.
