Top 10 Best SUVs You Can Buy On A Budget in 2019

Best SUVs You Can Buy On A Budget in 2019

Sport utility vehicles were once again all the rage this year and there’s no reason to think the trend won’t continue in 2019. There are a ton of new utility vehicles on the market, but which models provide the best value?

Unlike our Top SUVs of 2019 ranking which ranked the best models overall, this list focuses on how much bang for your buck a particular SUV gives you. It’s a fact that an SUV is more expensive than a car, and young families who suddenly need more space may find themselves having difficulty finding a versatility and spacious vehicle that fits within their budget.

This list is a great starting point if that happens to be your situation. The 10 best SUVs for the money on this list are here because they are affordable, of course, but also because of their overall quality. In other words, you’re not just getting a good deal.

Here are 10 the best SUVs you can buy if your on a budget in 2019. We’ve included the starting price of the most affordable version which means it’s more than likely front-wheel drive with the only exception being the Subaru Crosstrek. What also didn’t take into account rebates and special offers.

2019 Chevrolet Trax – $20,800

2019 Chevrolet Trax 1

2019 Nissan Qashqai – $19,998

2019 Nissan QashqaiCouple things here. For starters the Jeep Renegade and Ford EcoSport aren’t yet available as 2019 models. The prices listed here are for the 2018 versions. That said, there’s no way they increase enough in price to be off this list.

Secondly, the Subaru Crosstrek is a bit more expensive than the rest of the models on this list while also being less spacious than most. Some don’t even consider it an SUV. All that doesn’t matter because it has the very best all-wheel drive system you can get for the money and then some.

Finally, although these are indeed the best SUVs if you’re on a budget, but we repeat that they aren’t the best SUVs all things considered. The Kia Soul, for example, has been redesigned and will be completely different at some point next year.  Of the list, we’d recommend the Nissan Kicks, Nissan Qashqai, Honda HR-V, Subaru Crosstrek, Mazda CX-3 and our favorite, the Hyundai Kona.
