Indianapolis Motor Speedway is one of the most famous American racetracks
BMW will open a M Driving Experience Center at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the summer of 2022, following a successful pilot program held last summer.
This venue will allow anyone to experience BMW’s line of M performance cars on one of America’s most famous racetracks.
The building itself will sit on a 1.5-acre plot of land adjacent to the circuit and it will offer 14,000 sq. ft. of useable space when it opens in mid-2022.
The first floor of the building will include a showcase area where visitors will be able to see the new BMW M cars, office spaces, meeting spaces and training spaces.
On the second floor will be an 1,800 sq. ft. lounge space offering views of the circuit’s Turns 3 and 4. An outside roof-top area is also part of the plans.
The driving experience center will offer many programs to teach drivers better techniques and to allow more experienced people to improve their skills.
Those programs will include the M Track Experience, which familiarises participants to driving on a race track. The M Track Days teach more experienced drivers how to bring the cars to their limits. The M4 GT4 Experience will be a full day event with classroom learning and on track experience in the M4 GT4 race car.
The Test Drive Experiences will allow participants to drive a variety of BMW and BMW M vehicles and special courses will be setup to test the Off-road capabilities of the X series of SUVs.
