Porsche Digital launches a “second skin” online configurator for your Porsche vehicle. Classic liveries will be possible as will previously unavailable Porsche colours.
Many owners opt to “wrap” their cars in crazy colours or with various customs designs in order to stand out more. In order to maintain and guarantee the quality of what customers may want to do to their prized automobile, Porsche Digital has created “Second Skin.”
Through the online configurator, you will be able to select from numerous suggested designs as well as countless unique Porsche colours. Customers will be able to order online or as part of the consultation process, when ordering the car for example.
To demonstrate how effective and spectacular a 911 RSR can look for this weekend’s grueling 24 Hours of Le Mans. For the event, Porsche selected designs by artist Richard Phillips. For the RSR, the New Yorker Pop-Art-Artist combined three of his most popular works and the final result is quite spectacular, and unique.
The “Second Skin” range by Porsche Digital will become available in July at www.secondskin.design. You can pre-order as of now. All current Porsche models are eligible for the program, as are vehicles from other automotive brands. The costs for a complete or custom vehicle livery starts at around 4,000 euros.
