Dodge wants all muscle car orders in this month
Last year for Charger and Challenger as we know them
The horsepower bartenders at Dodge are ringing the bell. It’s last call for the Last Call editions of the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger for 2023. Get your orders in now or risk missing out.
Dodge introduced seven Last Call special edition models over the 2023 model year. They’re a celebration of the two Dodge muscle cars because the automaker says that this will be their last year “in their current form.” With talks of electrification and the quick disappearance of the V8 from the wider market, we’re all assuming that means the end of gas-powered Dodge cars. And, well, that seems to be what Dodge wants us to think.
The Last Call models range from mild to wild, but those aren’t actually the ones you can order. Dodge is building all of those to the same specifications, so you can either find one through your dealer or the Dodge Garage site.
The ones you’re going to want to order are the hot ones. The SRT models, which are all Jailbreak models this year. A 5.7L R/T or a 6.4L Scat Pack with a six-speed transmission, and Hellcats with a stick, which were held back until the second half of this year.
Dodge is telling dealers to have all of their orders in by the end of July. Production will run until December 31 at the latest, and it could end sooner. But sorry, the Demon 170 is already sold out.
