This could be a trim package focussed on wet terrain driving
It could be combined with the Sasquatch package for serious off-roading
Deliveries should begin in the summer of 2022
Ford is struggling to meet demand for the new Bronco, yet it is already planning changes for 2022.
One of the new models that will be offered is the Everglades package. Few details are known yet, but this will probably be a model aimed at people who want to drive off-road in areas where crossing streams and rivers are frequent occurrences.
This prediction comes from the fact that the Bronco Everglades will be equipped from the factory with a winch and a snorkel.
In order to help off-road driving, this model should have the same 35-inch tires, Dana locking differentials and Bilstein shocks as the Sasquatch package, but it isn’t clear if that equipment will be standard on the Everglades or if buyers will have to choose both packages to benefit from the highest off-road capabilities Ford offers.
The Bronco Everglades will be added to the Ford online configurator shortly and the first deliveries are scheduled to begin in the summer of 2022.
Other news for the 2022 Bronco includes the arrival of the Bronco Raptor which will focus both on high performance and on off-road driving, like the F-150 Raptor.
Details are also scarce on the Bronco Raptor, but rumours say it could have either the same 3.0L EcoBoost V6 from the Explorer ST that produces 400 horsepower or the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 out of the F-150 Raptor, with 450 horsepower.
