Want to venture off the beaten path in your Ford Mustang Mach-E, this rendered version may be for you
The Ford Mustang Mach-E is officially an electric crossover and although Ford hasn’t flaunted any particular off-road capabilities, there are some that see it as a rugged desert runner.
Or at least that’s what Abimelec Design seems to have in mind with this Ford Mustang Mach-E rendering. This isn’t the first time the designer has worked on the Mustang Mach-E, but this is the first time we’ve seen Ford’s upcoming EV rendered as an off-roader.

I am well aware the Mach-E is not very well accepted yet, but I wanted to experiment a bit with wider fenders and bigger arches to spice up the proportions. What do you think? ⚡️ . . . . . . . . #ford #mustang #mach #e #ev #electric #needs #a #v8 #as #soon #as #possible #future #crossover #blue #offroad #3d #render
It features thick all-terrain tires and rally-style front fog lights to illuminate the road ahead. It also has wider fenders to fit the beefy tires. Now, we’re thinking that the accentuated side sills may be a problem for really rugged off-road terrain, but because this is just a rendering we will let it slide. The ground clearance doesn’t seem that generous either, and that front lip would rip right off in any kind of hardcore terrain.
So this rendering is really more of an off-road Mustang Mach-E for the suburbs, designed to get a lot of attention at your local mall. It certainly looks good, no question about that.
As for the production Ford Mustang Mach-E, it is expected to arrive towards the end of the year. It will be offered starting at $43,895 in the US and $52,495 in Canada. Check out our overview of the Ford Mustang Mach-E trims to learn more.
