The release date has been postponed to the 4th of March 2022

The very popular Gran Turismo franchise, exclusive to Sony, is preparing to release its seventh game in 23 years.
Fans of the game have been waiting a long time for the release, since the current version is already six years old.
The new game will be the first of the franchise to be created for the new PlayStation 5 which was introduced almost a year ago.
Not a lot of information is known about the upcoming game, but many rumours are circulating and some of them have a lot of credibility. One of these rumours says that virtual reality could be a part of the gameplay for the first time.
Since the game has been developed with the PlayStation 5 in mind, it will take full advantage of the console’s features, like faster loading times and 3D audio which allows for a realistic reproduction of the various sounds created by a car on a track.
Another feature that will be interesting to experience is the implementation of Sony’s DualSense controller that can make the player feel the difference between driving on asphalt or gravel and the varying effort required to push the brake and gas pedals.
Due to the pandemic, the development of the game was slowed down and the initial release date was missed, but Sony has announced a new release date for Gran Turismo 7: March 4, 2022.
