Hyundai i30 Fastback N Breaks Cover!

Hyundai is not messing about with their desire to make the “N” brand synonymous with performance and design.

While there’s no word if the i30, aka Elantra in this part of the world, fastback will make landfall in North America, one thing is certain: “N” will finds its way onto a number of Hyundai products.

Prior to the launch of the Veloster N, I was asked if an Elantra GT N would have made a greater impact in or market. In other words, the Elantra GT or 5-door “N” will more than likely be introduced in the foreseeable future.

The i30 N Fastback is less of a certainty however if it was to come, it would be most unique. As a reminder, the N gets a turbocharged 2.0-litre GDI 4-cylinder engine that produces 275 horsepower, a limited-slip front differential, adjustable dampers and a 6-speed manual transmission.
