The images, published by Kindel Auto, appear to be screenshots from an internal video presentation comparing the EX60 to competitors, including the Tesla Model Y, BMW iX3, and Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric. The vehicle features Volvo’s signature ‘Thor’s Hammer’ LED headlights and a minimalist front design, aligning closely with the larger EX90 and smaller EX30.

Designed as the electric successor to the XC60, the EX60 retains overall similar proportions while adopting smoother bodywork and a flush, closed-off grille. The leak includes a close-up of the vehicle’s front bumper, but no full interior images have been released. Volvo previously issued a teaser of the cabin layout. The ¾ front angle shot is not without reminding us of Polestar’s handsome 3 and 4 models.

The Upcoming Volvo EX60 Promises up to 640 Kilometres of Range and Faster Charging Stops

Built on the brand’s new SPA3 electric platform, the EX60 will support advanced infotainment, faster processing speeds, and enhanced driver assistance systems. Volvo has confirmed a WLTP range of 810 km (693 km EPA), making the EX60 the longest-range EV on the market in its segment. It narrowly surpasses the BMW iX3’s 805-km (689 km EPA) claim and significantly exceeds the Tesla Model 3 Long Range’s 750 km (642 km EPA) on standard 18-inch wheels.

Volvo also states the EX60 will support high-speed charging, with the ability to regain approximately 278 kilometres of range in 10 minutes. The SPA3 architecture underpins Volvo’s plans for a fully electric vehicle lineup by 2035.
