The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB will hit Merc dealers in the U.S. this summer. Pricing for the base 300 4Matic starts from $54,500, with the EQB 350 from $58,050.
The new electric compact crossover uses a 66.5 kWh (net) electric battery and will have motors totalling 225 hp in the EQB 300 and 288 hp in the EQB 350. While the official figures aren’t in yet, Mercedes-Benz estimates around 260 miles (418 km) of range on the much more optimistic WLTP cycle used in Europe and elsewhere.
Two trims will be offered on each model. Exclusive is the entry grade and Pinnacle is the top trim.
Exclusive will offer LED lights front and rear in the new Mercedes-EQ design language. It will have the latest version of the MBUX infotainment screen featuring twin 10.25-inch displays as well as augmented reality navigation. Safety features like lane keeping, blind spot assist, and active brake assist are also included.
The built-in navigation offers Mercedes me seamless charging, letting you find stations and pay for charging directly from the vehicle. For the first two years of ownership, Mercedes-Benz USA will give owners unlimited 30-minute sessions on the Electrify America network. The nav system can also make continual range adjustments based on weather, terrain, traffic, and even your driving style.
Other key features with Exclusive trim include keyless go, wireless charging and an advanced sound system. Pinnacle trim ($58,300 for EQB 300 and $60,350 for EQB 350) adds Burmester surround sound, a panoramic roof, and a surround-view camera.
