MINI will be bringing four special editions cars to the Los Angeles Auto Show next week and, at the same time, confirms the launch of the MINI John Cooper Works GP for 2020.
These four special editions highlight the brand’s interest in customizing their models. As mentioned by Thomas Felbermair, vice president of MINI America: “Individualization and customization are core elements of the MINI brand,”. He adds: “This not only includes a range of options and accessories available for our cars, but also a unique range of limited production special editions that have long-been part of the MINI DNA since the first generation Mini was produced in 1959.”
Let’s take a closer look at these special editions:
John Cooper Works Knights Edition MINI
Featuring a Midnight Black exterior finish, this edition will come with many black and silver accessories and will be the first MINI to feature Piano Black badges. The roof and mirrors caps are silver, as are the hood stripes.
MINI Countryman Yin Yang Edition
As its name suggests, this MINI Yin Yang will be available in either Midnight Black or Light White with a contrasting roof and bumper stripes.
MINI Clubman Starlight Edition
Wearing a Starlight Blue Metallic paint, the Starlight Edition Clubman features a silver-colored roof, mirrors caps, and bumper stripes. It also features 17-inch wheels.
MINI John Works Cooper International Orange Edition
This orange special edition comes featured with a Midnight Black roof and rear spoiler and 18-inch wheels with performance tires. Black mirror caps and hood stripes were also added.
