Leaked Pictures Of The New Genesis G90 Sedan Ahead Of The LAAS!

As far Hyundai’s luxury brand goes, to say that Genesis is thriving in North America would be a lie. The fact of the matter is that the competition is simply, and absolutely, fierce. This is not to say that the product is no good. Quite the opposite, in fact.

On top of the excellent G70, a new SUV for the 2020 model year and more SUVs in the not too distant future, we’ve now discovered pictures of the facelifted G90 flagship sedan. Genesis is clearly hard at work creating a more desirable line-up.

The pictures were originally posted on a Korean forum or board. One of the pictures clearly shows the car’s rear-end and associated badging. We like the front-end treatment as it reminds us of the aforementioned G70.

The new G90’s butt, however, looks like a cross between a Toyota Avalon and Camry and a Lincoln Town Car, which we deem unfortunate. We’ve no doubt the car will be lovely to drive and be value-packed but Genesis designers could have moved the car’s image forward instead of laterally.

The new Genesis G90 will be revealed next week at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
