As the 2027 model year is getting underway for most models, Nissan Canada has announced the price of the 2027 Armada, along with a new trim level.
Indeed, the Japanese automaker will add a Dark Armour edition to its largest SUV, which will arrive early next year.
Based on the entry-level SL, this new version includes black and dark chrome accents all around the exterior, black badges, black roof rails, and black 20-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the Armada Dark Armour comes with black leather upholstery, darkened accents, and a panoramic sunroof.
Like all 2027 Armadas (except the Nismo), the Dark Armour is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine that generates 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. This combination makes for an 8,500-pound (3,856 kg) towing capacity.
Canadian pricing for the 2027 Nissan Armada will start at $88,972 for the SL grade, with the similarly equipped Dark Armour being priced from $91,972.
Moving on to the off-road-capable Pro-4X will add adaptive air suspension, an electronic locking rear differential, all-terrain tires, and metal underbody skid plates, along with numerous distinctive visual elements inside and out, for a price of $99,772.
The sporty Armada Nismo benefits from a power boost up to 460 horsepower when using premium fuel, along with a sport-tuned suspension, performance brakes, and a revised steering system. This model, which will arrive toward the end of 2026, will start at $109,566.
Finally, the luxury-focused Platinum Reserve remains at the top of the lineup, with a starting price of $111,966 with either the center bench seat or the captain’s chairs.
This latter point is new for 2027, as previously, the second-row captain’s chairs required a surplus over the bench seat. Also new for 2027 is the standard inclusion of the ProPILOT assist 2.1 driver assistance system on the Platinum Reserve.
While we don’t have data for 2026 yet, the current generation of the Armada seems significantly more popular than the one it replaced on the Canadian market, as sales jumped 140% between 2024 and 2025 for this full-size Japanese SUV.
