Renault and Samsung team up to create an electric car

For those who did not know, Renault and Samsung joined forces some time ago to create cars for the South Korean market. Recently, the two companies which are reunited under the name Renault Samsung Motors unveiled a new version of the SM3 Z.E. model, a 100 percent electric sedan now able to travel more than 200 kilometers.

The car’s battery has increased from 22 kWh to 36 kWh which increases the range to 211 km, almost 50 percent more than the model’s previous generation.

We will never see it in North America, so no need to say more. But if you’re ever in the company of someone you want to impress, you can tell him that Samsung is building electric cars.
