The 2021 BMW X7 Dark Shadow Edition Will Be Limited To 75 Units For The US

In all, 600 examples of the X7 Dark Shadow Edition will be built and all will be identical with the sole exception of the option to opt for the second-row Captain’s Chairs over the standard three-person bench seat.

Each unit will be painted in a BMW Individual Frozen Arctic Grey metallic matte finish with Extended Shadowline high-gloss black trim. The included M Sport exhaust system’s tailpipes will be finished in black chrome. Also part of the package are 22-inch M V-spoke matte Jett black wheels. Within the cabin, they will all receive two-tone Night Blue/Black BMW Individual full merino leather seats with contrast stitching.

The series of upgrades is extensive and includes M Sport brakes, differential, and adaptive suspension. As always, the M50i is powered by the twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8which produces 523-horsepower and 553 lb.-ft. of torque and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

US production of the Dark Shadow Edition X7 starts in Q4 of 2020 and the truck will be priced from $119,495.
