Audi and the VW auto group will make the station wagon cool again.
There are no details to share but we suspect this is the Audi version of the Taycan Sport Turismo.
This EV may force us to spend $100k and be happy about it.
Back in April of 2021, Audi introduced the A6 e-tron concept at the Auto Shanghai 2021 show. The concept introduced the “Premium Platform Electric,” or PPE which it the brand’s all-electric platform which was co-developed with Porsche. It also opened up the possibility of an Avant version and it’s coming.
The Audi A6 e-tron concept is gorgeous – there are no two ways about it. The large enclosed Singleframe grille is superbly framed by the flat headlight bezels, and this is just the beginning of this car’s visual details. The e-tron’s sides are laced with powerful wheels arches which are connected by sculpted rocker panels adorned with a black inlay.
The A6 e-tron concept’s sweptback Sportback rear pillar and hatch treatment are eye-catching certainly but it’s about to get better. Audi has just teased their latest e-tron concept and it’s the anticipated station wagon version.
The A6 Avant e-tron will represent, as Audi puts it, “elegance for everyday use.” It should feature the same two electric motor configuration which is capable of delivering a total system output of 350 kW and 800 Newton meters of torque.
