Top Gear Series 28 Is Looking Good

Fans of the old Top Gear might find what they’re missing in Series 28.

  • Cars:  VW ID.R racecar, Porsche Taycan, McLaren Speedtail and many more.
  • Presenters: Chris Harris, Paddy McGuiness and Freddie Flintoff.
  • Entertainment value: Very promising.

Not since the famous fracas that ended Jeremy, Richard and James’ tenure as host of wildly popular Top Gear car show have we been this intrigued by its proposed content. Truth be told, we are long-time fans of Chris Harris and we’ve seen him a few times but sadly, never had the “berries” to talk to him.

The series of various regular presenters after the disbanding of the Big Three varied from poor to good (Matt Leblanc and Rory Reid) but Chris was generally the sole draw for his explicit commentary and always impressive drifts. While we don’t know much, if anything, about Paddy McGuiness and Freddie Flintoff, we did enjoy the chemistry between the guys in Series 27.

Just a few days ago, Top Gear released their Series 28 Trailer and we found ourselves carried back to the blunder years of Hammond, Clarkson and May, their shenanigans and the amazing cars they drove. Hence, we are very much looking forward to watching the new episodes in the near future.

Yes, the near future as the only time indication so far is “coming soon.”
